Amos Tversky (1937-1996) was an influential Israeli-American cognitive psychologist known for his groundbreaking work in the fields of decision-making, behavioral economics, and cognitive psychology. He made significant contributions alongside his colleague Daniel Kahneman, particularly in understanding human judgment and decision-making processes. Together, they laid the foundation for the field of behavioral economics and won the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences (Kahneman received the award) for their pioneering research.
